There are 12 branded 70ft yachts that will hit the starting lineup in Liverpool on August 20th for the 40,000 mile Clipper Round the World Ocean Race.
One among the 12 yachts will be branded Greenings International. This news was shared by Clipper Race co-founder and CEO William Ward. He said that it was a great pleasure to welcome and have Greenings International as the first time partner in the forthcoming 20917-18 Clipper Race.
William said that he has had very close collaboration with Greenings for the past decade. Throughout his involvement with Greenings International, he found them to be really interested in investing in people and there is no doubt that people power and the camaraderie between them is very important to be successful in the waters. He wished the Greenings team all the very best for the forthcoming race.
Andrew Greening, the Managing Partner of Greenings, said that he was happy to be collaborating with the popular Clipper Race.
Greenings have always been in the forefront to support individuals who have the capacity to put the extra effort and to go beyond one’s expectations. This is why they are looking to debut a team in the Clipper Race for the 2017-18 season.
Greenings International and the Clipper Race partnership go a long way. It all started in the year 2007 and for the past decade, they have been part and parcel of the popular Clipper Race. There will be a total of 710 people from different countries and nationalities taking part in this around the world ocean event that has 8 challenging legs. This is a race that will take place for 11 months and will see a full circumnavigation. Each team will be guided by a professional skipper.
The 2017-18 season will be the 11th edition of the Clipper Race event.
